The College Preparatory (College Prep, or CP) track is the standard academic level at Mon Don. A student's final grade in a CP course is unweighted; i.e., a 90 counts as a 90 toward the student's GPA. Most religion, music, art, business, and physical education courses are only offered at the CP level, as opposed to courses in other departments, which are typically offered at an Honors or Advanced Placement level as well. Other courses offered only at the CP level include creative writing 1 and 2, public speaking, and sociology.
For several years, there was also an Academic track in the science and mathematics departments. This was phased out in the early 2000's; Academic courses became part of the CP track, or were no longer offered. In the late 2000's, Foundations courses were created to expand upon traditional Academic-level offerings.
